Pioneer Group has announced a new partnership with Bio-Rad Laboratories, a global leader in life science research and clinical diagnostics products, to provide Victoria House tenants with access to advanced molecular biology technologies.
Through the partnership, Bio-Rad will serve as a preferred technology provider and scientific partner to residents of Victoria House for qPCR Systems and ddPCR™ Systems, protein analysis, electrophoresis and gel imaging, as well as offering:
- A QX200™ Droplet Digital™ PCR system for shared use on-site – a gold-standard technology used in cell and gene therapy, oncology, virology, and gene expression analysis
- Hands-on application support for genomics, Western blotting, protein analysis, and cell biology technologies
- In-person and virtual scientific support across areas such as product selection, stocking, training, and experimental design
- Technical workshops, demo sessions, and “Ask the Expert” clinics
- Access to a wide network of Bio-Rad-hosted events, including university- and industry-led seminars
- On-site training and onboarding for ddPCR and qPCR users
- ‘New Lab Start-up’ bundles tailored to common molecular biology workflows (including Western blotting, qPCR, and electroporation), with access to exclusive discounts, of up to 40%
In addition, Bio-Rad will implement a network-wide support model across all Pioneer Group locations in the UK, providing tailored outreach and support. Bio-Rad’s UK Customer Experience Centre will also offer advanced demos and training, and discounted equipment packages will be made available for shared facility procurement at Pioneer sites.
