Colour Synthesis Solutions (CSS) is a leading provider of bespoke research, intellectual property and manufacturing services. Through our expertise in molecular design, CSS synthesises novel molecules for the manipulation of light for use in applications including; electronic displays, smart windows, solar energy capture, OLED/OPV, personal care and textiles. At CSS, we provide our customers with novel synthetic solutions to achieve their technical goals.

In 2017 CSS expanded it’s capabilities with the addition of a 50L pilot plant manufacturing laboratory to assist in the development and production of kilogram quantities of materials for our customers. The facility includes two state of the art ATEX 50L jacketed vessels, a 50L ATEX rotary evaporator and a 25L Jacketed SS316 pressure filter.
