Pioneer Investment
Pioneer Group operate funds that invest in young businesses and specialise in Seed to Series A funding. We provide investment to life science companies who have come through our Venture Building programmes (which may include Launch teams) or companies based at one of our Pioneer Group UK & Ireland locations. This way, we get to know the people, technology, and business before investing.
We create optimal environments for companies to focus on solving human and planetary health challenges. Our ecosystem includes multiple laboratory and office space across the UK and Ireland. Understanding the space requirements, investment requirements and business processes for start-ups and scale-ups, ideally position Pioneer Group to provide specialist guidance along the entrepreneurial journey.

We manage funds dedicated to supporting emerging businesses, specialising in Seed to Series A funding. We extend investment opportunities to life science companies that have participated in our ‘Accelerator’ and ‘Launch’ Programmes or are located at one of our Pioneer Group UK & Ireland facilities. This allows us to develop in-depth knowledge of the individuals, technologies, and businesses before committing to investment.
