BioCity by car

BioCity sits adjacent to the M8/A8 just 13 miles from the centre of Glasgow and 35 miles from the centre of Edinburgh and Stirling.

From Glasgow,

1. Follow M8 East toward Edinburgh.

2. Take the exit 6A towards A8/A73/Lanark/Wishaw/Motherwell/Airdrie from M8.

3. At the first roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto A8.

4. At the second roundabout go straight across and take the exit into the BioCity main gate. Visitors parking is on the left.

From Edinburgh

1. Travel West along the M8, signposted Glasgow.

2. Leave at Junction 6 (signposted Eurocentral/Coatbridge and A8) follow straight along the A8 (please keep right here and do not take the exit to A73 Motherwell).

3. Continue to the first roundabout and turn left.

4. At the next roundabout turn left onto the overpass over the motorway.

5. At the roundabout take the exit into the BioCity main gate. Visitors parking is on the left.

BioCity by train

Airdrie rail station is just 3 miles away and a regular bus service takes 16-20 minutes. Trains to Airdrie from Glasgow run approximately every 10 minutes with a journey time of 20-25 minutes and operate at a similar frequency from Edinburgh Waverley with a journey time of 40-50 minutes. Edinburgh and Glasgow’s airports are 25 and 20 miles away, respectively with a travel time of 25-30 minutes.

Located within the Eurocentral Business Park on the M8 Motorway and within easy reach of Glasgow city centre and Glasgow Airport.

Hilton Strathclyde Hotel (4.1 Miles)

Just 45 minutes from Edinburgh Airport, and 30 from Glasgow Airport, the Hilton Strathclyde hotel is an excellent base both for travelling and sightseeing.  Guest rooms range from deluxe to suites, all offering on-demand movies, desks with ergonomic chairs and WiFi.
