Pioneer has announced a strategic partnership with Avidity Science to enhance laboratory infrastructure across its UK sites, starting with Victoria House in London and BioCity in Nottingham.

Avidity Science, a global leader in laboratory water purification systems and lab equipment, brings over 25 years of expertise to the table. With a strong reputation for innovation, Avidity will work closely with Pioneer to provide its tenants with cutting-edge, sustainable water systems and lab solutions.

The collaboration marks the beginning of a portfolio-wide rollout of Avidity’s advanced water purification technology, with a focus on improving lab efficiency, sustainability, and cost-effectiveness for tenants. Through the partnership, Pioneer tenants will benefit from preferential pricing on Avidity’s full range of products and services, designed to support early-stage and growing life science companies.

Initial activation of the partnership at Victoria House will include a series of on-site tabletop events, giving tenants the opportunity to engage directly with Avidity’s technical sales specialists. These events will feature live demonstrations, product showcases, and informal learning seminars, offering expert insights into optimising lab workflows and equipment performance.

In addition, Avidity’s regional technical team will support sites across the UK with ongoing visits, hands-on demonstrations, and tailored advice, ensuring tenants receive the most appropriate solutions for their lab environments.

Amongst Avidity’s range of innovative solutions is Solo™ S – its new Type 1 water purification system. The Solo™ S features re-usable cartridges and eliminates single-use plastic waste, achieving up to a 90% reduction in carbon emissions.
